This site was created voluntarily in year 1999 as a special courtesy to the late Bostoner Rebbe zt"l to provide preliminary information about Rofeh International to prospective people in need.  Naturally, this site was created in full coordination with the Rofe International staff director at the time and over the years was reviewed by one of the late Rebbe's children.

While we believe that this site still provides correct preliminary information, we are no longer able to update this site.   Recently (2012) we were delighted to hear that Rofe International is in the process of creating its own brand new web site and so we encourage readers to seek to that site for updated information.

While this site remains here as a service to users, and while our heart is still with the services provided by Rofe International, it is no longer officially  affiliated with Rofeh International.

Rofeh International is a project of the “New England Chassidic Center” and the Bostoner Rebbe.

Mission Description: The organization is dedicated to provide Medical Referral and Support Services to the needy.  The organization assists the sick and their families with referrals, Hospitality & Kosher meals during their stay in Boston.

Typically, a patient would call the center for assistance in finding an expert physician in the problem area.  Often,  patients send in advance copies of their medical records. Those records are forwarded to specialty doctors in the Boston area.  When the patient arrives Boston, a furnished apartment is awaiting for him to be used during the visit by his family.  Kosher meals are provided for the first few days of stay as well as Shabbos arrangements.

In Boston, Rofeh International is headed by Rabbi Naftali Horowitz ( The Rebbe’s Son in Boston).  Feel Free to contact “Reb Naftuli” as he is commonly called in Boston at the above listed numbers.

In Israel, “Reb Meyer” (Rabbi Meyer Horowitz) of Har-Nof, Jerusalem, runs the operation remotely.  It is in Israel that many patients receive their preliminary information about Rofeh’s operation and potential aid.  Reb Meyer’s” able wife, Mrs. Sima Horowitz is always there to assist, council and comfort patients in their hour of need.

The Rofeh operation would never get off the ground without the generous support of the Boston community.  Many individuals volunteer many hours of their time to provide assistance to visitors of the Rofeh organization. Too often a patient arrives Boston unexpected due to an emergency situation.  The righteous women of the Boston community rise to the task, prepare kosher meals upon an hour’s notice. Many times a patient who does not know the area nor the language needs to be taken from place to place. Here is where the dedication of the community really comes into play.

Rofeh International appreciates your support.  Financial contributions can be sent to the address listed above.
